NLP Life Coach Course Curriculum

  • Module 1: Introduction to Coaching

    This 4-hour interactive webinar is conducted live with voice-to-voice interaction as well as live visual interaction through live Zoom technology (may also be offered live onsite).  This session sets the stage for learning by introducing the students to their co-learners and co-leaders (one another, faculty, and program personnel).  This module also covers the ground rules for how we expect to work together as a cohort, including our shared responsibilities in learning and leading.  

  • Module 2: Establishing the Coaching Agreement

    This 4-hour interactive webinar is conducted live with voice-to-voice interaction as well as live visual interaction through Zoom technology (may also be offered live onsite).  This session expands the stage for effective learning by developing individual and group familiarity and competency with the various technologies used in the program.  During this session, we “go slow in order to go fast” in that we take the time to make sure everyone is able to learn and contribute effectively.  Time is given to practice the various technologies and there is time for questions, individual instruction, and technology assistance.  Any issues that cannot be addressed during the module are addressed in one-on-one sessions following the module.  The module covers coaching definitions and applications, helping answer the basic questions of what is coaching and how is coaching used to impact individuals and organizations.   • Module 3: Establishing Rapport with the Client

    This 4-hour interactive webinar is conducted live with voice-to-voice interaction as well as live visual interaction through Zoom technology (may also be offered live onsite).  The module covers how the NLP Life coach establishes rapport and lead the conversation using communications intelligence.  

  • Module 4: Presence in the Coaching Engagement

    This 4-hour interactive webinar is conducted live with voice-to-voice interaction as well as live visual interaction through Zoom technology (may also be offered live onsite).  The session takes a deeper dive into the eight core coaching competencies and gives special attention to turbo listening, asking, direct communication and creating awareness.  Attention is also given to the flow of a coaching conversation and how a coach facilitates the conversation moving from general topic focus, to the essence of the topic, to explore options, to narrow to actions, and finally to commitment to action(s). 

  • Module 5: NLP Life Coach Deep Listening Skills

    This 4-hour interactive webinar is conducted live with voice-to-voice interaction as well as live visual interaction through Zoom technology (may also be offered live onsite).  The session shares several coaching models, including coaching conversation models and models for helping create awareness, and provides several coaching sample sessions via imbedded video.  

  • Module 6: NLP Life Coach Mindsight

    This 4-hour interactive webinar is conducted live with voice-to-voice interaction as well as live visual interaction through Zoom technology (may also be offered live onsite).  

    Learner coaches explore the steps towards fully focusing their attention on helping their client focus their attention and energy during the coaching conversation. Helping the client focus provides  opportunities for focused thoughts, focused commitment, focused action, and focused results.  Active Listening; Powerful Questioning; Creating Awareness; Managing Progress and Accountability.  

  • Module 7: NLP Life Coaching Strategies

    This 8-hour interactive webinar is conducted live with voice-to-voice interaction as well as live visual interaction through Zoom technology (may also be offered live onsite).  

    Students learn the critical component of a coaching relationship and each coaching conversation. Learner coaches are introduced to the principles of Action Mapping – looking at actions through the lenses of Precision, Path Clearing, Alignment, and Motivation – as a means of helping clients design and follow through on the best actions for their lives. Creating Awareness,  Designing Actions, Planning & Goal Setting, Managing Progress & Accountability. 

  • Module 8: NLP Mastering Mindsight

    This 8-hour interactive webinar is conducted live with voice-to-voice interaction as well as live visual interaction through Zoom technology (may also be offered live onsite).  

    Coach learners experience the power of language – using just the right words to get the maximum impact and benefit for their clients. Coach learners apply the use of metaphors, formulas and other language tools to put punch into their NLP Life coaching and help them get the most from their PBSs.   • Module 9: NLP Life Coaching Action, Planning, Objectives, Progress & Accountability

    This 4-hour interactive webinar is conducted live with voice-to-voice interaction as well as live visual interaction through Zoom technology (may also be offered live onsite).  Utilizing the Patterns of High Performance process developed by Dr. Jerry Fletcher, students learn to create a space for clients to discover the patterns they have developed throughout their lives when performing at exceptional high levels. Students learn the theory behind the process as well as discover various uses for it in their own lives and coaching relationships. Establishing Trust and Intimacy with the Client, Coaching Presence, Creating Awareness, Managing Progress and Accountability.  

  • Module 10: NLP Life Coach as a Legacy Leader®

    This 24-hour interactive webinar is conducted live with voice-to-voice interaction as well as live visual interaction through Zoom technology (may also be offered live onsite).  Coach learners are introduced to ways in which a coach approach can impact the roles of leader and manager within a company.  Using the frameworks of Legacy Leadership® and the 5 Best Practices™, learners explore how coaching can improve a leader/manager’s competency and avoid some of the common pitfalls in leading and managing.  Powerful Questioning, Creating Awareness, Active Listening, Designing Actions, Planning and Goal Setting, Managing Progress and Accountability. 

  • Module 11: ROI/ROE Mindset

    This 2-hour interactive webinar is conducted live with voice-to-voice interaction as well as live visual interaction through Zoom technology (may also be offered live onsite).  Coach learners explore the importance of being able to appreciate and speak in terms of Return on Investment/Return on Experience with organizational leaders and stockholders.  Learners are also given a helpful information for calculating and estimating costs of and returns from coaching.  Establishing Trust and Intimacy with the Client, Creating Awareness, Designing Actions, Managing Progress and Accountablity.  

  • Module 12: ICF Certification Prep/ICF Core Competencies

    This 2-hour interactive webinar is conducted live with voice-to-voice interaction as well as live visual interaction through Zoom technology (may also be offered live onsite).  his webinar is focused on revisiting the ICF competencies with an intent to identify growth areas, determine next steps to strengthen competencies and start getting ready for ACC certification exam. Meeting Ethical Guidelines and Professional Standards, Establishing the Coaching Agreement, Establishing Trust and Intimacy, Coaching Presence, Active Listening, Powerful Questions, Direct Communication, Designing Actions.  

  • Module 13: Navigating Assessments

    This 8-hour interactive webinar is conducted live with voice-to-voice interaction as well as live visual interaction through Zoom technology (may also be offered live onsite).  Coach learners consider the role of assessments and instruments as an added feature in coaching.  Demonstrates how to match assessments with client needs to discover strengths and blindspots, identify patterns, and improve teamwork. Assessments covered  Establishing Trust and Intimacy with Client, Creating Awareness, Powerful Questioning, Designing Actions, Planning and Goal Setting. 

  • Module 14: Coaching Demonstrations

    This 2- hour interactive webinar is conducted with voice-to-voice interaction through Zoom technology.  Many of the webinars already include a coaching demonstration as a powerful way to teach the concepts presented. We also include webinars that focus only on coaching demonstrations. This webinar allows students learn how to listen with a critical ear to hear the level of each ICF competency demonstrated; and discern whether it was below or at the ACC, PCC or MCC levels. 

  • Module 15: Skill Development Phase - Supervised Coaching Sessions

    All members of the cohort call in for a series of one-hour supervised coaching sessions.  There are two sessions per participant and each participant coaches twice, serves as a PBC twice, and observes at least 8 times.  

    Each call is 60 minutes, with 30 minutes for coaching and 30 minutes for feedback as well question and response.  Feedback is given from observers as well as the supervisor, and all feedback is directed to the coaching student and her/his competency per the ICF eight core coaching competencies.  

  • Skill Development Phase: Feedback Coaching

    Each participant is assigned a qualified (PCC or MCC) mentor coach for 2 one-hour feedback coaching sessions.  These sessions are scheduled in the second half of the cohort and with at least 4 weeks between sessions — this allows the mentor coach to assess the participant’s progress in building competency and skillfully coaching.  

    Following each of the two sessions, the mentor coach provides written feedback to the participant.  The written feedback is based on the ICF’s minimum competency requirements checklist and helps the participant gauge her/his level of coaching ability based on the ICF’s criteria and descriptions.  

    Note:  Completion of the IBNLP – NLP Life Coach Training program will provide the learner with 100 Coach Education Hours towards ICF (ACC, PCC, MCC).  IBNLP does not award the ICF or IAC credentials.  IBNLP graduates received the NLP Life Coach Practitioner or NLP Life Coach Master Practitioner Certification or Legacy Leadership® certifications.  For international certifications, IBNLP graduates meet the education and mentor required hours for the ICF Credentials.  Graduates must apply, pay applicable fees, and meet testing and/or coaching hour requirements for each individual international organization, and the specific credential applied for.  For ICF requirements visit www.coachfederation.org.  

  • Goals & Philosophy

    Learning Goals:  Upon completion of the IBNLP – NLP Life Coach Training program, learners will have successfully completed 100 hours of coach education training, and ten hours of coaching supervision, and learning ICF core competencies, ICF code of ethics, and standards of professional coaching.  

    Coaching Philosophy/Model/Approach:  The IBNLP – NLP Life Coach Training model is based upon adult learning, neuro linguistic programming practitioner and master practitioner, NLP model of communications, Milton and Meta Model techniques designed to enhance the coach’s effectiveness with clients, as well as creating a way of being as a professional coach.

  • Terms & Conditions

    Languages:  The program is offered in either English/Spanish languages.

    Program Delivery:  The program is delivered 80% live onsite or via Zoom virtual platform, and 20% asynchronous.

    Non-refundable deposit to register.

    These policies are effective as of the time you submit your deposit or register for your training program.

    Coaching at End of Life Online Classes – Cancellation Policy

    • Students who have been enrolled in an online training may cancel 31 days or more prior to the starting date of the program, and your tuition is fully refundable minus the non-refundable deposit.  If you cancel between 15 and 30 days prior, we will refund 50% of the program fee.  No refunds are possible after 14 days prior to the starting date.  Refunds are to be made by sending written notification via email to: [email protected]
    • If you are on a payment plan, the financial obligation for the tuition is incurred at the time of registration. If you cancel between 15 and 30 days prior, and you are on a payment plan and have not yet paid in full, 50% of the tuition fee becomes immediately due and payable.  If you cancel less than 14 days before the program starts and have not yet paid in full, the full tuition fee becomes immediately due and payable.
    • Yager Training, LLC reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any scheduled training or to replace personnel due to low enrollment or circumstances beyond our control. If a training is rescheduled or cancelled, participants will be given notice by Yager Training, LLC at least five business days before the start of class. Students may then enroll in the next available offering of the program. Should this occur, if desired by the student, all tuition collected to date will be refunded.

    DEPOSIT: The deposit for the program is non-refundable and non-transferable.

    PAYMENT PLANS: Payment Plan options can be found on the Registration/Pricing and Payment Options page on this website.  Monthly automatic credit card billing is required. Applicable service rates are posted on the Registration/Pricing and Payment Options page on this website. Most major credit cards are accepted. Billing information will be collected during the registration process to facilitate payment on the service renewal date. A payment receipt will be emailed each billing cycle.

    WITHDRAWALS: If you withdraw from the program at any time for any reason, we will not refund your tuition.  If your tuition is being paid by payment plan, the full amount becomes immediately due and payable.

    EMERGENCIES: We will always try to accommodate absences resulting from emergencies such as severe illness, accidents, etc. However, adjustments can be challenging.  Therefore, we are not able to accommodate requests for withdrawals for any other reason, such as work scheduling issues, family vacations, or personal reasons, etc.
